Who I am

I’m Samina Gullfam, and I run SEO In Boots (seoinboots.com) as a solo SEO consultancy based in Hazro, Attock District, Punjab, Pakistan. This policy explains exactly what information I collect through this website, why I collect it, how long I keep it, and what control you have over it. I’ve written it myself, in plain language, because I’d rather you actually read it than scroll past it.

What I collect

When you fill out a contact form or request a quote:
I collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, website URL, and whatever project details you share. I use this only to respond to your inquiry and, if we move forward, to deliver the service you’ve asked for.

When you message me on WhatsApp:
If you reach out through the WhatsApp links on this site, our conversation is handled through WhatsApp’s own platform and is subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy in addition to this one. I keep records of client conversations for as long as needed to deliver the project and for a reasonable period afterward for reference and tax records.

When you browse this site:
I use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site (pages viewed, time on site, general location at a city or country level, device type). This data is aggregated and not tied to your name or email unless you’ve also filled out a form. I also use Rank Math for on-site SEO, which does not track individual visitors.

Cookies:
This site uses:

  • Essential cookies, needed for the site to function (security, load balancing).
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics), which help me understand traffic patterns.
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies are currently used on this site. If that changes, I will update this section before any such cookie is set, and you’ll be asked for consent first.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies won’t affect your ability to use the site or contact me.

Why I collect it

I collect information for these specific reasons, and no others:

  • To respond to inquiries and quote requests
  • To deliver SEO services to clients (audits, reporting, link building, content work)
  • To understand which pages and content are useful to visitors, so I can improve the site
  • To meet Pakistani tax and business record-keeping obligations

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any reason.

Who I share it with

I don’t share your personal information with third parties except:

  • Service providers I rely on to run this business, my hosting provider, email provider, and Google Analytics, each of which processes data under their own privacy and security terms.
  • If required by Pakistani law, for example, a valid legal request from an authority with jurisdiction.
  • With your explicit permission, for example, if you agree to be featured as a case study or testimonial.

I do not work with data brokers or ad networks, and I don’t share client project data with other clients or competitors.

How long I keep it

  • Contact form submissions from people who don’t become clients: kept for 12 months, then deleted.
  • Client project data and communications: kept for the duration of the engagement plus up to 3 years afterward, for tax records and in case you return for further work.
  • Website analytics data: retained in Google Analytics per Google’s standard retention settings, which you can review in Google’s own privacy documentation.

Your rights

Regardless of where you’re located, you can ask me at any time to:

  • See what information I hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information (except where I’m legally required to keep records, such as invoices)
  • Stop receiving any communication from me

If you’re in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you’re in the US (California), you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what’s collected and the right to request deletion. I don’t sell personal information, so there’s nothing to opt out of on that front.

To exercise any of these rights, just email me or message me on WhatsApp using the details below. I’ll respond within 30 days.

Children’s privacy

This site and my services are intended for business owners and professionals. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, contact me and I’ll remove it promptly.

Data security

I take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share, including SSL encryption on this website and restricted access to client records. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and I can’t guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If I make material changes to this policy, I’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top and, for significant changes, note them directly on this page. I’d encourage checking back occasionally, especially if we have an ongoing working relationship.
